Hi:
New, new, newby here.
What's with the recommendation to use water soluable ink?
I would think that if the box's logbook got damp at all
(a possibility, seeing that it IS outdoors!) the impressions would
run.
Why not "regular" stamp pad ink?

I've been informed by a listee to use pigment pads instead of inkpads. She
said the impressions will not run. So all my FL boxes save one have pigment
pads...more than half are in a seasonally swampy area, so by next fall, I'll
know if it's true....

I use the cheapest ink pads I can find. the ones I have right now
are acid free dye-based ink pads. They were $1.50 each. I didn't
know I was supposed to use water soluable ink.
